Joint Symposium on Neural Computation
University California Riverside, CA
Genomics Building, Auditorium
June 2, 2012
In 1994, the Institute for Neural Computation at UCSD hosted the first Joint Symposium on Neural Computation with Caltech. This Symposium brought together students and faculty for a day of short presentations. Since then, this Symposium has rotated between San Diego, Caltech, UCI, UCLA, USC and UCR.
Bard Ermentrout, University of Pittsburgh
John Lisman, Brandeis University
Tad Blair, UCLA
Stijn Cassenaer, Caltech
Gary Cottrell, UCSD
Sergei Gepshtein, Salk Institute
Jason Kutch, USC
Anand Ray, UCR
Craig Stark, UCI
Jing W. Wang, UCSD
Sponsored by Qualcomm and Brain Corporation.
Who should submit? Abstracts are welcomed from all members of the neural computation community of Southern California. Research areas include all aspects of neural computation including cellular, network, and systems-level modeling; applications of neuromorphic algorithms and hardware to problems in vision, speech, motor control, and cognitive function. Several of the abstracts will be chosen to give an oral talk.
