18th Joint Symposium on Neural Computation

In 1994, the Institute for Neural Computation at UCSD hosted the first Joint Symposium on Neural Computation with Caltech. This Symposium brought together students and faculty for a day of short presentations. Since then, this Symposium has rotated between San Diego, Caltech, UCI, UCLA and USC.

Directions From I-5
Head southeast on I-5 S. Take exit 29 for Genesee Ave. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Genesee Ave W and merge onto Genesee Ave. Turn left onto N Torrey Pines Rd. Turn left onto UCSD Northpoint Driveway. Turn right onto John Jay Hopkins Dr. Destination will be on the right.

From I-15
If you're coming from the I-15, take exit 19 for State Hwy 56 W/Ted Williams Pkwy. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for CA-56 W and merge onto CA-56 W/State Hwy 56 W. Merge onto Interstate 5 Local Bypass S. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for I-5 S/Interstate 805 and merge onto I-5 S. Take exit 29 for Genesee Ave, see following directions above.

From the San Diego International Airport
Head west on Airport Terminal Rd. Slight left to stay on Airport Terminal Rd. Keep right at the fork. Turn left onto N Harbor Dr. Turn left onto W Laurel St. Turn right onto Brant St. Merge onto I-5 N via the ramp to Los Angeles. Take exit 29 for Genesee Ave, see following direction above.
